President Lois Mestan

Lois Mestan spent the early part of her career as a Systems Analyst and Senior Solutions Manager at one of the largest software development companies in the world. During that time she served on several user committees, organized conferences, and implemented protocols to improve collaborations between departments. After 15 years in the corporate world, she chose to stay at home and raise her family. During this time Lois held different roles in various groups, organizations and boards within the community, including the position of Foundation President for a school district in Will County. In her spare time, Lois likes to bake, read, travel, learn and most of all, spend time with her family and friends.

Vice President Nicole Meyer

Nicole Meyer has always had a passion for caring for others. For ten years, she taught at a NAEYC accredited pre-school where she had the additional responsibilities of creating newsletters, fundraisers, classroom themes, lesson plans and the important task of creating compliance documentation for accreditation. Nicole eventually made a career change and became a CNA to work with renal patients. Her work here went beyond patient care. Nicole joined the safety committee to ensure proper procedures were in place for the well-being of the staff and their patients. She also transcribed charts and performed other administrative duties to help out on the floor. When Nicole isn’t at home with her family (and pet pig Penny), you will find her out in nature or floating in her pool.

With over 15 years of experience in branding and design, Lisa has dedicated herself to creating newsletters, social media graphics, and event designs that resonate with our community. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 8-year-old son, dancing, stargazing, and loves collaborating with other board members to strive to make The Gathering Lighthouse a place where everyone feels empowered and valued.

Treasurer Marianne Valle

Mariann Valle is a retired finance specialist for over 15 years. She is currently enjoying her retirement with her Adult children and her 5 grandchildren.

Board Member Toni Gagliano

Toni Gagliano, 22 years in finance as a mortgage consultant, 10 years in Real Estate, Event host with a humanitarian organization in cook county.

Board Member Oscar Mata

Oscar Mata is a seasoned web development professional with extensive experience working with various foundations, agencies, and a diverse client base. He excels at helping clients who are unsure of their direction, immersing himself in their processes to enhance and optimize their systems. Oscar's ultimate goal for The Gathering Lighthouse is to expand its reach, enabling it to help more people as it has helped him.

Spiritually, Oscar identifies as an intuitive. He has received channeled messages from his guides and connected with multiple types of entities, deepening his interest in the spiritual realm.

Personal Profile:
Oscar Mata's spiritual journey began 15 years ago after he developed an autoimmune disease. In his search for relief, he discovered meditation, which opened up a vast inner world and ignited his quest to explore the unknown. Over more than a decade on the spiritual path, Oscar's curiosity and knowledge have grown, recently revitalized by a channeled message he received. This message encouraged him to find a community to accelerate his spiritual development.

Oscar found his spiritual family at The Gathering Lighthouse, where he continues to advance his skills and follow the trail of spiritual breadcrumbs.
